And this is why Race Driver GRID is great. Besides being a really good racing game in its own right, the Flashback feature is very innovative. Generally with racing games, you put in a really good performance, great driving all around the track. And then make one little mistake. Or have one bad driver ruin your day. Flashbacks aren't meant to make the game easy, or take away from anything - they give you a second chance when you need one.
